The Elko Band of the Te-Moak Tribe is one of four Constituent Bands whose members are affiliated with the Elko Indian Colony. Each Band (Battle Mountain Band, Elko Band, Southfork Band, Wells Band) has power to manage the affairs concerning all matters that relate soley to the Band as granted by the Constitution of the Te-Moak Tribe of Western Shoshone Indians. The ELKO BAND COUNCIL is our elected body serving three year terms and whose duty is to carry out the powers granted by the Tribal Constitution. This web page is offered as a resource to reach out to our Elko Band membership, community members, and others near and far who maintain an interest in the Elko Band, the Elko Band Council, and the Elko Indian Colony.

LOCATION

Our Administration Building is located on the Elko Indian Colony near the intersection of Ruby Vista Drive and Silver Eagle Drive in Elko, Nevada.

The Elko Indian Colony consists of two seperate parcels comprising a total area of approximately 567 acres (with approximately 15 acres being encumbered by U.S. Interstate 80).
